2012 Resolutions!

Happy 2012 Ya'll!

Today I'm going to share my resolutions for the New Year. This year I wanted to make attainable goals, not ones that are so outrageous that I know I'll never complete them. With that here are my goals for 2012...

1. Run 3 days a week.

I started my running journey about March of last year, and let me just say it wasn't easy. It took me a long time to work myself up to even run a mile and I'm glad to say those days are behind me. I want to make running a priority because I do enjoy it, it's just getting me to do it. I'm running a 5K in Nashville on February 4th so I really need to get myself into high gear. Only a month left!

2. Read 50 Books

I'd like to classify myself as a book nerd, but I don't think I could take it that far. There are far more people who read more than me. I only really read at night before bed, on vacation, and if I'm traveling a long distance in the car. Even though I don't read "a lot" my some people's standards I did read 40+ books last year so I bumped up my goal to 50 this year. Pretty attainable I think! Do you have any suggestions of any books that are must reads? 

3. Learn to use my camera in Manual Mode

I have a fancy schmancy camera that I really don't know how to use. I park it in auto mode and I'm not satisfied with that. I want to grow into my photography and I'd really like to venture out and have a few sessions. In order to take really professional looking photo's I need to learn the in's and out's of my camera!

4. Scrapbook

I have a fancy Cricut now and I have no excuse to not finish up my Out West trip this year. That's my goal...and to get up to 2010 in my family album. I'm really going to have to set aside time for this, no excuses!
